the favoritism doesn't favor anyone in the end! yuna and lexus were more criticised even though lexus did a good job, especially with her vocals, and yuna improved and was more on-beat. and kendall will definitely debut, but she will be heavily critiqued by fans, because even netizens are noticing the favoritism and international fans are constantly pointing it out.

Exactly. If JYP thinks he is going to market this girl group with kpop standards for American viewers, then he better get ready to be dragged because he will. The western market isn't a fan of favoritism and will not stand for one person getting all the best outfits, most lines and screen time, especially if that person cant even sing, is average at dancing and only has "looks". Oh, and spoiler alert to the kpop stans, kendall's look is actually average per western standards. KG is the IT girl. She has your typical all-American girl look, hence why she is getting by by just mainly singing all the time. He needs KG to sell to the American viewers. But regardless, i hope he does get rid of Lexus so she can be with a different company that will actually value her and let her shine. It will actually be the best thing he does for Lexus. She doesn't deserve to be beat down, then eliminated just to be brought back for kicks and giggles, especially when she actually deserves a spot by merit alone.

Lexus surprised me with her vocals' improvement. Yuna got better in singing. Kendall unexpectedly performed worse than last time - though her expressions were great, the vocals were more unstable than I expected. Camila + Gina + Cristina were on fire. What a great performance. I am so happy that Gina finally let go of whatever restricted her, her stiffness all gone is great to see.

They already did the who's best at vocal and dancing, etc. Now it's more on how they move their audience as if their performance was their song. The feeling. But I agree that J.Y. If Lexi doesn't debut I'm gonna lose it. She's my number 1 favorite out of all the contestants. There's this beautiful aura about her that makes me love her. She gives kpop idol. I hate how JYP only talks about her faults and not how she improved. Out of the alcohol free group Lexus voice was the one that suited the song the most, it was really clear and pleasant to listen to. She’s definitely improved, same with yuna. Kendalls movements were very good, i can’t deny that that, but her vocals cracked in some places, so im confused why jyp didn’t criticize that

He didn't criticise her vocals tho..he talked about how her dance was a little stiff. But never criticised her vocals, only said that the whole team's vocals was good but not the most stable and that it was expected since the song requires hard vocal abilities.

Honestly, it's really disheartening to watch JYP continuously discourage Lexie. She has improved so much with her singing that I was impressed. She stood out to me in their performance. Her instructor told her to sing her part brighter, and she executed so nicely. Her facial expression was also very cute. I can understand where JYP said for her movements in this one to not be so strong or powerful, but can he not give her some encouragement that she's also improved a lot as well. She's definitely one of my top 5. ❤ #teamlexie

I admit I wasn't a fan of Cristina's vocals at the beginning, ofc she also admits she wasn't aplying for vocals, but the training is paying off and she has her uniquess tone. Also, the facials all of them not only did good at dancing and signing, but also the facial expressions. Yeah, as I said it was like watching a debut stage.

Lexi was literally the best in Alcohol Free team !!! It's weird how she wasn't praised but the opposite happened !!!!!

Not only was Lexi's voice clear and strong, so were her dance moves.

JYP wanted Lexus to work on her vocals and she killed it. He should have complimented her improvement on vocals and then give constructive criticism on her dancing.

You don't understand about kpop idol. Kendall can gives emotions in her dance n the feeling/souls of the songs can dekiver well to the audiences. Just like JY Park said Lexus was doing good but she wasn't comfortable dance this kinda song, her body lines n gestures feel lil bit awkward to watch. It's okay to get critical/bad evaluation. It makes her improve

Lexus has been my favorite ever since her audition and it never fails to surprise me how despite her constantly doing well she never gets the recognition some other girls get, I thought her vocals in this performance were extremely solid and even during the last evaluation she put on a more solid performance then certain other girls but was ranked close to last... it just feels like no matter how much she improves she isn't getting awknowledged for it while certain other girls are sliding by.

Almost all the comments here are about Lexus. Her talent is noticeable. The amount of love and support this girl has is heartwarming. Justice for Lexus! She deserves better.

A lot of Kpop idols that are like that, mediocre in talent but has the IT factor.. Some girls has to shine on all trades for them to be able to be recognized especially in a group consisting of 5 or more members. That's how entertainment business works, we just have to deal with that.

I'm sooo proud of team Back Dawgz. they did soooo well, like as a STAY i couldn't be prouder. Lexus in my opinion was more stable than the other members of her team.

In my opinion, Lexus did really well. Of course she may be better suited to certain concepts than others, but I really enjoyed watching her and especially hearing her. Her voice sounded so full and vibrant to me. I sincerely hope she debuts!! ❤️

She sang 3/4 of the song while being stable, what people call shaky, is her voice, even when she talks her voice is like that. Her dance was better than yuna and Lexus this time, it was elevated and elegant. Stop putting Lexus on a pedestal, she got critism, it isin’t the end of the world, she has to improve more. I totally agree! Personally I saw more growth in Lexi and actually preferred her singing in the performance more than Kendall’s. Unfortunately JYP didn’t feel the same way. Kendall did well but far from how good he always says she is.

JYP was right. Yuna and Lexus dance movement on Alcohol-free by Twice were stiff. Go watch Twice dance video and you'll see and understand what JYP was talking about. Kendall was the only one sway to the music like the water movement. I have a feeling Yuna might face the fate that Momoka in Nizi project went through.

It seems like despite JYP not really mentioning her improvement, the company as a whole sees how good she is, and I think her getting so many of the stickers, and the editors showcasing that, is an indication that it will be an important part of the final debut selection. Instead, he keeps saying her vocals are bad, while it's not. I mean, from The Feels performance he's totally not praising her vocal while her vocal is stable. If he thinks Lexus is a pro, I guess JYP is wording all his comments wrongly, because we only see he's being too hard and never giving any compliments. It's only hurting her, imagine she's being so good and improved, but always being told that you're bad.

I literally forgot about Ginas individual performance when jyp said she had no emotion GINA ATE THAT UP!! Camilla and Cristina aswell, stray kids songs are not easy to perform. Well done!!

geez the backdoor team is really good... can't believe the two of them didn't debut while other contestants who sings unstable managed to debut. I'm in actual awe and shock at the back door performance! Camila, Christine and Gina absolutely slayed it! The vocals, rap, energy, stage presence, adlibs, outfits, expressions! Everything was so good! And its not easy to perform a stray kids song with the explosive energy they showcase! This has to be the best cover of back door that I've seen! Cristina, Camila, and Gina were perfect!!! I'm so happy Cristina and Gina got to finally be so confident with performing you can see them just oozing with charisma. You can see how they got more and more confident throughout the performance, each one giving the other power and each one singing louder and freer and just getting lost in the performance. I'm so worried for Yuna though, you can see the twinkle from her eyes fading and its like she's already expecting to fail :((( I hope she regains some confidence

If Lexi doesn't make it, I'm dropping a2k. You don't know how proud i was watching her perform here cuz she danced, sounded and looked so confident here and was actually enjoying the dance. Her vocals sounded really beautiful, full and very stable. She held her center very well too. Yes her dancing was stiff in some moves in the choreo but she did well in her parts where the focus was on her. She can work on being more fluid but her vocals and stage presence today was the best out of the three. I love her tone too. The way i was expecting praises for her after this just for jyp to just ignore all that and focus only on parts of the choreo that was stiff. Everyone gets credit where it's due but i guess not Lexi.

That's what I don't like about how JYP is treating Lexus. He barely acknowledges her improvements like he does other contestants. She isn't perfect, but the girl is trying so hard, and he doesn't seem to care. He asked for her to improve her vocals and then just ignored it and critiqued her dancing instead.

I think there must have been some reason because JYP is an expert in music and has the ability to see through people. I think he thought Gina was more suited to solo than the group. It's very difficult to survive as a solo artist, and I think it would have been nice if JYP just included it in the group. The competition rate is so high that the chance of surviving is slim.

i wish JYP complimented Camila, Cristina and Gina on the stability of their voices. they did absolutely amazing. and also why so harsh on Lexus? she probably performed the best out of her group imo. her vocals improved and her dance was still very good.

thank God... i read the comments. i thought maybe i was the one going crazy, but im not the only one who sees it as well. Each member of the MARTEAMI team had their pros and cons in this performance. Kendall's vocals were shaky and thin at some parts, but her facial expressions, vibe, and dance was great. Lexus' dance was a bit stiff to look at and not so flowy, but her vocals were so stable and i love how she made her voice sound brighter. Yuna struggles with staying on beat in dancing and staying on key in singing, but her tone matches the song, she matches the visual of a girl group well, she has star quality, and despite her shortcomings, she always improve bit by bit. But whether that bit by bit improvement is enough, we'll have to see. I wish the girls the best. I also wish that JYP would be more fair in his feedback. I can't help but see favoritism with the constant praise for Kendall and constant criticism for Lexus. I will probably make a whole other comment on that. It's becoming clearer each episode and I used to think that maybe I was just overthinking it. But no. Putting Lexus and Kendall in one team and hearing the feedbacks for them made me more sure of my belief that there is some bias.

my jaw was on the floor the entire backdoor performance oh my goddddd. also i felt like Yuna improved more than JYP is giving credit for. She really looked like she was having fun and shined out of that group for me.

I totally agree about Yuna's improvement. I think she did really well and so did Lexus but JYP just keeps favoriting Kendall. Both Yuna and Lexus deserve more credit.

Jyp seriously??? Lexus was so bright and her vocals were bubbly and stable if we compare how her early vocals were! Totally matched with the vibe. Lexus keeps getting robbed folks

@@angelgor5102 because if they will put Lexus in Camilla's team they would be too powerful in stage impact because of powerful dancing. He needs to balance the team by dividing them 3 by 3. See its composition Camila, Cristina and Gina - if anyone would be replaced by Lexus, she would be likely be criticized because these 3 have better vocals than her and their dancing are also excellent. If anyone of them replaced by Yuna it will endanger her more because Back door requires speed and powerful movements and Yuna might not catch up its beat both in singing and dancing. Lexus, Yuna, Kendall - If anyone replaced by Camila/Cristina/Gina. It would be more biased. Kendall is considered a good vocal in her own pitch that can harmonized anyone of the 3. Savanna, KG, Kaylee - samething if Camila/Gina/Cristina replaced anyone of them it would be biased also because they will easily outshine the others. Samething if Lexus replaced anyone of them because Savanna is a powerful dancer, if paired with Lexus they would be a powerful dancing machines and either Kaylee or KG is enough to outshine the others if combined to these 2 powerful dancers making it also biased. If Yuna replaced anyone of Savanna's team, it would be unfair because their group will easily flop if she is together with KG and Savanna having 2 weakest dancers in the team, but if she is with Kaylee and Savanna its balanced however it would be biased to exchange KG with Yuna to Lexus team having 2 powerful vocals (KG and Kendall). KG and Kendall should not be in 1 group when competing because these 2 have powerful stage impact that may outshine the others when being paired.

@yohan505 It's great to be versatile, but JYP shouldn't expect that from some contestants and not others. He needs to switch up the groups more so everyone can experience something outside of their comfort zone and perform songs that are not to their expertise as well. If he wants every contestant to be versatile, he isn't going at it the right way.

Dang why JYP didn’t recognize Lexi’s improvement in singing though? She sounded stable and showed so much improvement. All these ladies are doing great esp for their ages. The road to an idol is no joke. Add different language and culture on top of all the vocal and dance practices. 👏🏽 well done

@@AudioAdios Could've complimented her at least. Her vocals were better than Kendall's. She uses full voice mostly while Kendall always resorts to falsetto. Idk if it's the editing but he could've pointed out Kendall's drawbacks too because she does have them
