I personally have always used this definition of grooming: "the practice of preparing or training someone for a particular purpose or activity." so being groomed to fall in love with his new team sounds like correct usage to me!

Kendall honestly...wasn't my favourite in the bootcamp. BUT THIS?? THIS IS INCREDIBLE. You can really see her improvement over these 6 months, her vocals, her dance, HER FACIALS AND VISUALS LIKE OH MY GOD SHE'S PERFECTTTT. Nothing but praise that was pure artist level. Wow.

I had the same reaction as JYP when Kendall was done. Holy moly. Invested in Kendall at auditions and this just paid out huge dividends. That was a true 11/10 performance. I thought Kaylee did well also but someone teach her to meditate and maybe she will be able to let go enough to meet what JYP is talking about.

People are too soon to judge, forgetting that they weren't trainees yet, that's why some skill still not polished very well yet. Plus, what I analyze from all the contestants, everyone show great dedication, like doing any kind of performance or even gymnastic in a very long time. So, their criteria are different, just like what JYP said that the agency seeking the potential trainees who will become long term artist, yet some people thinking it is like other survival show that showing already trainees to debut and care only about popularity.

Kendall's expressions have always been great, but she took them at another level. And not only that, her movements felt more precise and enojoyable to watch. The same thing with her vocals, she always sounded good, but she's reaching higher levels. She's really becoming an all-rounder, and an amazing performer.

Kendall is so great, I think her and Yuna are my top biases so far, but this performance was another level! She blew everyone away ❤

well. The next Korean girl group at JYP will not be possible until four years from now, so enduring four years as a trainee is harsh. If your parents live in Korea, you can tolerate it, but it is a very difficult process to live as a trainee alone in Korea after leaving your parents in the United States. So it is best to debut this time.

@@sarabeatriz5569 i think samarobot means being in a forgeign country as a jyp trainee for 4 years without any close family members in korea is tough and it's best for kaylee to debut with a2k (although i think it'd be cool for her to be in a korean girl group)

Now this show is getting interestng and makes me excited. Kaylee and Kendall really improved themselves and show us that they deserve to be there. Their performances really exceed my expectations. POP! and 24hours are really not easy songs y'know. But they are more stable than I expected, and they are amateurs. I really really enjoy their performances. It was unfortunate that Melissa had to withdraw by her personal reasons tho, she has a great voice.

Kendall is a future IT GIRL in the making, i trust jyp to give her the necessary to be really really popular

I used to dont love JYP, but after these episodes… He was really acting like a dad to all of them. Even when he didnt like their performances. He was always smiling and comforting them. When he said “Im not expecting anything perfect from you Kaylee, you are only 12!” yeah, i started loving him there. He is such a good person.

I agree. Attitude is the most important thing to be an idol. Even if you got the skills but you can't respect other people, it's not gonna work

this debut show is honesty sm better than any others i’ve watched. glad they want to focus on things like personality on and off camera, how much of team player they are. basically just how true to themselves and others they are. i’ve really enjoyed watching this show so far

exactly, comepared to other survival shows, were it's so rigged, judges are extremely biased, rude, camera editing making certain members appear bad, etc. this was so raw and real.

That just how JYP survival show is and honestly I like it. All decision come from JYP and his staff which clearly professional in their field and there are little to no decision based on public opinion.

I actually learned how to approach life and work today. Being diligent is such a beautiful message.

Kendall is the perfect conbination of Tzuyu's visuals and Mina's elegance for me, she is so fun to watch and she is quite flexible when it comes to Concepts, first a bubbly song like POP and now it has a more mature and cool feeling, at beginnings of the Boot camp I didn't really believed on her because of her lack of skills, but she completely exeeded everyones expectations now, we love you, Kendall

With some of the overproduced (downright dodgy-dealings) survival shows out there, I appreciate this one. It comes across as transparent. If they cut it for the company's standards, they cut it. If they don't they don't. Simple and direct . Thanks for this.

I was groomed before I could even reach puberty by someone who had access to my devices and even was able to hijack the television broadcast signal. Someone is using advanced technology to force children into whatever fantasies they have. They are warping the minds of children at ages where they are too young to know anything is off. You may only ever recognize the patterns of abuse after a lifetime of suffering. I don't know who I really am because of the magnitude of the manipulation in my life. I don't want anyone else to go through the same, or if they are, I want them to know what is happening to them.

I think so too. They have a very similar charm. But in this episode we were able to see something different from them. I believe they are starting to be more distinct. Kendall has a more elegant vibe, whereas Yuna is more cute with the cat ears hairstyle. On the other hand it could just be this particular performance... I suppose time will tell!

Welcome to the real world my friend. In any competition there is a winner and loser. And all other contestants have gathered at least 3 stones while Mishca only has two stones at the end. Just like the Nizi project, the contestants with 4 stones and 3 stones (runner up) get to go to the next round. What's the point of having this competition or qualification if everyone get the pass?

ok this is the first time Kendall impresses me. I was bitter for her going 5th in the last ranking, thinking other contestants deserved her spot, but now I'm not that mad anymore. Stage Presence- Many people always say, if you have the gestures, the look, the expression, the physical body movements- they all work in unison to draw the audience in. Then you have a captive audience. JYP and the rest of us who watched Kendall were a captive audience. Kaylee was more technical but Kendall had the advantage of stage presense. The moment she posed and rehearsed in front of a mirror or camera, she knew she commanded your attention. She knows how to draw you in- then taking off her shoes was just the tip of the iceberg.

Kendall’s performance has been the only one that I’ve replayed several times after the first day of airing

I have a theory, the intro where some girls sing "I wanna see the world, does the world wanna see me" I can really hear the girls' voice. I can hear Camilla's voice, kaylee, kendall. It means they have already debuted! Pay close attention Im sure you will hear the girls' voice. All of this is recorded and the LA bootcamp began in April! God, this makes so much sense now.

Honestly that’s why I think. Her vocals are good enough to be solo, but her dance skills were severely lacking, she could hardly do the body roll in The Feels. I don’t think she’s suited for a kpop style group but she could definitely succeed as a solo artist
