Yea it’s different from the other Korean shows because it usually starts with 100 girls but it was just a group of girls in this one so it was easier to form close relationships with everyone I knew from the beginning it would be hard at the end😢

Gina possesses great technical skills but k-pop artists need to have more than that. She isn't able to express the song as how it was intended, and she really isn't comfortable to watch. I worry for her every moment because she looked so stressed up (same goes for Cristina). Watch closely and you may start to agree that she looked and sounded almost angry when delivering her lines, instead of joy or hopefulness.

Gina kept disappointing me, not on her skills, she was GOOD! but a lil too good, she was still young and didn't know how to manifest her emotions into the dances. They did felt like she's running a home run lap than trying to have a fun ball game. If that made sense. Gina isn't special, she's like many with luck but that being said, she's just like any other skilled dancer/singer. Couldn't fill the right shoes, her size was too much.

A friend of mine is born in 2005 and tries to audition but no labels wants him bc they say he's too old or borderline 😢 I feel so sad for Cristina bc she really deserves it and I don't see what did she lack compared to other members.. anyways, even if she decided to quit music, the bright side is that she will see her family and friends and live a normal free life out of all pressure with nobody invading her privacy 😊❤ (that's something a lot of idols would dream of actually)

I just want to say that VCHA is a terrible name for a girl group. It may be okay for a boy group but for girls??? It just sounds too masculine. I don't know what JYP was thinking.

Rewatching A2K again made me realize that JYP made a good choice with the members. Of course we would have wanted Christina to make the group but I think the reason why she didn’t make it was cause her vocal wasn’t powerful enough. JYP already had Savanna and Lexi who are really great dancers but not strong vocally and he needed the vocals alor more and it was a struggle between Kendal and Christina but picked Kendal because her vocals were better than Christina and she had the visual K-pop fans want. I loovvee Christina and wanted her to be chosen but her power was mostly dancing. She didn’t have the visual for K-pop fans and not strong enough vocals. That’s why In their songs KG, Camila,Kendal and Kaylee get more lines and they focus savanna and Lexi on rap and dance. I knew Gina wasn’t gonna make the cut cause till the end they talked about her dancing and vocals and how she wasn’t much in it like the rest girls. The judges have been doing this for a long time so I’m sure they know better.

The Back Dawgz performance was the only time JYP and the trainers had no negatives for Gina and Cristina and that their potential really showed. Had they capitalized on that momentum going into the finale by giving the same level of performance, they would've probably been chosen in the group. However, in the finale they were both the weakest link/stood out the least in their respective groups, so it shouldn't be so controversial that they ended up being the last 2. And the attitude evaluation was pretty much the nail in the coffin. Everyone should realize JYP Ent care about their idols being great people more than any other company, evident by how much the character and attitude evaluations mattered in the end.

I agree too. I just re-watched this episode since it's been a while, and I feel like the 6 that were chosen really were the perfect group to make Vcha. Though I really liked Christina💗 I have to say her vocals were too weak in the final episode, and this is where I think she got dropped. She looked uncomfortable, and this was their last chance to shine. Kendall is proving herself to be a valuable member in Vcha, so I am so happy for her. And Gina looks like she's doing ok on her own.

@@genren21lets not make assumptions 1 and 2, her nda from this show probably prevented her from releasing it until the show ended. she and the girls after the show are still following each other and did an insta live with each other. its never that deep yknow ❤

Christina has one of the best personalities. And Gina is an all-rounder, even when it comes to languages. I hope to see more of them soon! ❤

I really hoped Cristina will make it bc she looks like a superstar and has so much charisma on stage. But we don't know what happened behind the scenes and what was finally the point that they didn't choose her. So sad...she was my favourite😢

Rewatching this again after seeing the final group's mv and performances. I tried to watch the different members when they weren't in focus to understand the flaws, and I understand why Gina and Cristina were eliminated. They just didn't shine as much. Gina has always had the fundamentals, but doesn't "act". She was barely smiling unless she was in the center. Cristina did falter and it showed in her face. Both girls are great, but these were the flaws jyp saw. Kendall's performance was not perfect, but she does contribute to the energy of thr group when she's not center. You can definitely see it in the stage performances for music bank. As for the size of the group, the smaller group will be more succesful for a western group.

I think Gina got carried away from the beginning because she had already been a JYP trainee, and possibly thought that was enough, like Yuna had negative thoughts in her last performance, I mean she doesn't believe in herself.

Cristina faltered because she had a pinched nerve going to her right leg. She went to a neurologist as soon as she got back to Atlanta. Even if selected, she would have missed pre-debut promotions and probably the first release as well.

so happy KG made it, a talent that couldn’t be missed out on.

I didn’t expect them to debut right after the show ended! And certainly not debuting a 13 year old?! I would’ve saved Kaylee and Gina for a Korean Gg debuting after 2 years.. and kept the older ones to debut. It’s an American Gg so it should’ve been fierce , stylish and more mature instead of the Tween/middle school bop they’re going for. What a waste of Camilla, Savanna, and Lexus’ swag, skills, style.

All of them is amazing, but it's a business, and to debut gg more than 4 member is expensive and they need to prepared the budget, and of course they need consider many things, even jyp himself give a last word to Gina and Christina to continue persue their dream.

Feel like I'm having post concert depression from this episode😫😭 so bittersweet😭 Lexus debuting #1 was definitely a plot twist! I cried so hard. I'm incredibly happy for her and the rest of VCha💜 So excited for their future endeavors🥰

good skills there is no doubt. But she can't move if she is not more expressive, she had to overcome that challenge since she arrived in Korea, but she didn't make it. I imagine that influenced a lot, if you notice, they couldn't get anything positive out of her beyond her stability, she seemed at her limit.

@@cloudreaver i honestly believe jyp didnt debut gina b/c of character reasons.. the way he said, "we had to consider all factors, not just singing/dancing". i have my opinion on what ive seen of gina's personality, but shes LITERALLY 13/14. so i need to take a hard look in the mirror on that front... i just hope she doesn't carry the pain of her experiences with JYP training for too long. i cant imagine how hard this situation was/is for her- and christina.
