indeed, i remember listening to the full album back in 2015, and fall in love with the whole album. There's not even single song that is bad from the album. AOTY material supposedly....

Love the 80's synth-pop, synth-rock, hip-hop feel to it. It really has a Whitney Houston vibe to it. Just a great song!

They were ahead of their time. Synthwave, albeit growing, was still a niche genre (arguably presented to a more wide audience with the movie Drive). Had Wonder Girls not been korean and released this in more recent times, this could have been a Blinding Lights of sorts. Still, compared to many other entries into the genre of modern 80's retro, Reboot stands as one of few that actually sounds as if it was taken straight out of that era. It is among the most underrated albums, nay, musical ventures of all time and a masterpiece.

when 80s city pop only started to flourish around late last year to now... Wonder Girls didn't get the attention they deserved when they published this album.

the group is not underrated as they are 2nd gen legends but the band era of the group is underrated since they they were on hiatus for a while and came back right in the middle of 3rd gen. When reboot came out, most of the 2nd gen groups were either breaking up or going on hiatus.

I came back after I watched I'm so Lonely and I love the retro vibe from both mv's. The music, lights, set, clothing but I do have one question, do I have a mini Wonder Girls down there too?

솔직히 발매 당시엔 노래 이상하다고 생각했는데, 2019년 5월 23일인 지금 들으니 이상하진 않고 새롭고 좋다...

Do my eyes deceive me??? First of all im REALLY glad Wonders Girls are back because I haven't seen them in 4 years(?) And I wasnt expecting what I saw lol, but it was quite good! Glad they're back!!! :D

I feel bad for the people who disliked this WG song. 80's music at it's finest in this day in age. I didn't think the music was underwhelming, but some of the vocals could've had more of a punch. I really like that they brought this type of music back with a little of modern feel to it. We should all appreciate old music & new. I mean without the music from the Beatles, michael jackson, bee gees, abba, annie lennox, etc (the older gener.). There wouldn't be all these other experimental new genres of music you kids like these days. Anyways, i must say WG amazing & confident, no need for overly sexy dance moves. Great job WG!

showsomedignaty I know right. Way to much ass twerking going around these days. That's not what it takes to be sexy. To many Kpop groups doing it these days. It's the reason I left American music behind. But it seems like way to many are following the same nasty trend. I'd rather see my Kpop idols do without all the twerking to be sexy.

Natalie Jean Oh i totally understand & can respect people who have different tastes in music. But when some of them don't even know or don't research why the concept was made the way it is & complain. Then it bothers me. I don't mean to rant to you, but I respect that WG/JYP tried to recreate 80's music ,etc while still being them. I know it might've not lived up to what some others hoped for but I appreciate what WG did. They brought a piece of musical history back to the present day.

These girls wonderfully paved a big way for kpop. case closed. and made jyp rich too lol.

the first comeback with SunMi and Lim together.

Reboot is definitely one of the best girl group kpop albums out there. The 80s influence was such a good way to go and it wasn't so try hard to be 80s either it was simply just SO great. Now a days it's so hard not to find ggroups doing the played out cute school girl concept. Goddd I love thisss Wonder Girls really really blew me out the water with this comeback. This is months later I'm writing this that means I'm still so amazed haha. fightiingggg!!!

it still bothers me alittle bit that they didnt win anything , knowing they worked hard for this comeback, but they did probably came back in the wrong time with shinee,snsd, big bang but it just gets to me that they didnt get a single win for this comeback and knowing that yubin cried after their comeback stage because she thought that she didnt do good enough just kills me

+Danielle Demise it's all about fandoms these days, the Wonderfuls are all grown up now to spend all night voting for them, the groups that are winning have a young fan base who spend most part their days on mnet/kbs/mbc site voting for them. I was like that in the very beginning of WG, but now I have college all day, I just can't. Btw they still sold a lot, one of the most commercial hits of the year (without losing quality)

Best retro music of kpop

JYP didn’t deserve Wonder Girls; they practiced instruments for a whole damn year, only to disband two years later. They were constantly shoved to the side and left to their own devices, when in reality they are the reason why JYP is where it is now. Wonder Girls were the base of the hallyu wave; they ventured off into a market that they hardly knew about, had constant hit songs, members left and joined but all of them found ways to get along. Don’t ever forget the 10 years of Wonder Girls, that allowed all your faves to be where they are now.

@@ammaranuar2544 He also held them hostage in America, trying to make them a global success before k-pop was global and tanked their popularity because of it. If he'd kept them in Korea, they'd be held on the same pedestal as SNSD right now because at one point in time, they were actually equals.

All the fandoms get along in the old days; they only hold grudges against the agencies (lol) I remember when WonderBang was at its peak, WFs & VIPs still deferred to Cassies because of TVXQ (whose relocation to Japan opened the domestic door for WG & BB, just like the latter's own exodus opened the same for the 2009 idol groups).
